On Friday night, the varsity football team traveled across town to take on region rival River Bluff. Both offenses struggled as the defenses held both offenses to under 260 yards of total offense.

River Bluff took a 10-0 lead late into the third quarter before the Timberwolves offense could get things going. Aveon Smith connected with Keon Clary for a 70 yard touchdown pass to make it 10-7. Albert Hope added a ten yard touchdown run to make the comeback complete in the 4th quarter.

The Timberwolves are now 4-3, 1-2 on the year. The Timberwolves host region leader Dutch Fork next week at 7:30.
