Coach Church and the B-Team finished their season last night with a resounding 35-7 win over Lexington. DeShaun Armour rushed for over 125 yards and 2 touchdowns as well catching a third. Kennedy Ramsey rushed for over 150 yards as well, rushing for two scores and throwing for two more. Luke Martin and KeAndre Bennett both had interceptions to lead the defense while Donovan Abbey had a fumble recovery as well.
Coach Bryant and the JV Timberwolves defeated the Wildcats in a 12-7 exciting conclusion to the year. Donaven Johnson had over 80 yards rushing while Jaelin Gray added a rushing score for the final margin. Gray had a couple big completions as well to Kai Walker and Braeden Slater while Alex Lewis converted a big third down with a 22 yards strike to Slater as well. Walker scored the only other TD on the opening drive of the game. The defense was lights out all night with Quinten Tillman notching three tackles for loss while Shelton Bibbs and Carlos Richardson each added multiple tackles for loss and a sack each. Emori Mills had a big interception to close out the first half and keep the Wildcats scoreless until the break.
This marks the second time in four years that we have swept the Wildcats on Thursday night and pushed the JV winning streak to three games.
