Varsity Bowling · Bowling Update

Last night the girls’ and boys’ bowling teams went up against Airport High School at JC’s Lexington Bowl for their first match of the new year. Both teams swept AHS 10-0 for the night. Emily Bolin had a solid 173 game in the girls’ match. They maintain a 20 point lead over Airport for first place at the midway point in the season.
For the boys’ team, Jehovah Lavington had a 204 game and Zachary Blackburn a 212 in their win over Airport High school. The boys are tied with River Bluff for first place at the midway point. Next week White Knoll takes on Chapin High School at Beltline Lanes on Thursday with warm-ups beginning at 4:45 and matchplay at 5:00. Come out and support the WKHS bowling teams. Admission is free!
