Cross Country Teams Finish 5th

At the Chapin meet on Tuesday, our Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls both finished 5th out of 10 teams. Bryan Grumbach was the overall winner for the boys with Johnny Clemens in 8th place. WKMS Defeats Pleasant Hill

White Knoll Middle School defeated Pleasant Hill Middle in football 36-18 on Wednesday night. The Warhawks open the season 1-0.

Timberwolves Improve to 4-0

On Tuesday night, the Timberwolves defeated Dreher 5 to 1. Winners included Renee Hooks, Bri Hall, Kristen Anderson, Holly Smith and Alaina Spigner. The team is currently 4 and 0 and opens up region play next Tuesday at Irmo.

Golf Drops Match to South Aiken

The WKHS Girls Golf team visited the 2013 6th place state finishing golf team of South Aiken at Woodside Plantation yesterday. South Aiken with all returning members of their 2013 team defeated WKHS 165 to 194. The WKHS girls team will return to Woodside Plantation on Monday for the South Aiken Tournament.

Volleyball Sweeps DH vs Ridgeview

The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams earned wins versus Ridgeview on Thursday. The JV defeated Ridgeview 2-0 (25-17, 25-11). Varsity followed with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-19) in the second match of the day. Both teams are 1-0 on the young season. The Varsity returns to action this weekend as they travel to the Nation

The WK girls tennis team beat Dreher on Thursday afternoon by a score of 4-2 to start the season 3 and 0. Wins were recorded by Renee Hooks, Bri Hall, Kristen Anderson and Alaina Spigner.

The Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams both finished 7th in their divisions at the county meet on 9/3. The boys had two all-county runners. The White Knoll Baseball Program is selling Smoked Boston Butts to raise money for the Red Bank Invitational (“The RBI”) Baseball Tournament. Swim Team Car Wash

This Saturday, September 6th, come support the WKHS Swim Team at the First Community Bank across from the Piggly Wiggly on Hwy 6.  The team will be having a car wash and a hot dog plate sale from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Come out and support the Timberwolves!

Softball Fall Practice

White Knoll softball practice/conditioning will be starting Sept.8 from 4-6pm at WK softball field, on every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and will go until Oct.2 for all returning players and for anyone interested in playing softball. You must have a current physical to participate.  If you have not turned one in please bring it on
