On Tuesday night, the Timberwolves hosted Aiken in varsity basketball action. The Varsity Girls team played tough, but lost a hard fought game 65-52. Record 1-4 In the night cap, the Varsity Boys lead early, but they could not sustain the early momentum and lost 42-27. Record 2-4 Both teams return to action next Tuesday

Boys basketball tryouts will begin next week. Below is the schedule for the tryouts. Boys BTeam/JV Tryouts: Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1st at 3:45pm Boys Varsity: Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1st at 5:00pm. Must have physical dated after April 1, 2016 to participate.
Any potential B-team or JV basketball players are encouraged to attend weight training after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Coach Ringley from 4:00 – 5:30pm. Workouts will begin on September 1st. See Coach Ringley in room 707 if you need further information. Players must have an up to date physical to participate.

White Knoll basketball player, Myles Mathis, has committed to Ottawa University. As a senior shooting guard, Myles averaged 12.4 points per game, 67 percent from the free throw line and 1.5 steals per game. His all time game high was 26 points in the Shootout by the Sea, where he was named to the All Tournament team.
White Knoll forward T.J. Knight committed to play basketball at Lander. Knight averaged 18.2 points and 12.5 rebounds this season. He also was selected to play in the North-South All-Star basketball game.
